How The Stupidiots® came to be and where they are going...

Creation Story

The Stupidiots® is an animated series set in the strangely oversized suburban town of Penal Pumperville, packed with irreverent humor, ridiculous schemes, and completely unpredictable comedy. The series follows a wildly clueless cast known as The Stupidiots®, who constantly hatch bizarre plans, pranks, and “genius” ideas in an attempt to outsmart everyone around them… even though their nonsense almost always spirals into chaotic, hilarious disasters that annoy the neighbors and cause total mayhem.

Dylan and Vaughn Reinert, the creators of The Stupidiots®, are two brothers from Florida who began building this ridiculous, imaginative world when they were just 10 and 5 years old. Most of the characters were originally created by Dylan and later refined by both brothers as they grew up. The very first character, Annie, actually began as a living sandwich with ketchup for hair because the name sounded funny—but today she’s evolved into the iconic, bread-headed chaos magnet fans know now. Many of the other characters were dreamed up during late nights when younger brother Vaughn couldn’t sleep, brought to life simply for laughs and entertainment. Now adults, Dylan and Vaughn have taken their childhood creations and transformed their hilarity, absurdity, and pure stupidity into animated comedy through cartoon storytelling. Their mission is to create slightly irreverent cartoons, bringing laughter, imagination, and ridiculous fun to audiences now and for generations to come.
